Biography

Dr. Ljiljana Krneta was born in Bugojno, Bosnia and Herzegovina, finished elementary school and high school there, and in the 1977 received the title of Professor of Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Sarajevo.
At the University of Srpsko Sarajevo at the Faculty of Philosophy in 1999 defended the master’s thesis entitled “Psychosocial factors as determinants of success of students in school” and was awarded the scientific degree of Master of Science.
Doctoral dissertation, entitled “Characteristics of students as a factor in the perception of the working efficiency of the teacher”, defended in 2010 at the University of East Sarajevo and acquired a scientific degree of Doctor of Psychology.
She took part in many scientific and professional conferences throughout the region with written contributions, and was a reviewer of a number of different works from preschool education, developmental and educational psychology.
Has worked in elementary school and preschool education as an educator / pedagogic specialist and psychologist and as a youth counsellor . In the postwar period, she was engaged in mitigating the consequences of the war-traumatized children and adolescents.
She began her university career at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Belgrade (2000), then at the Independent Univision in Banja Luka and currently is employed at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Political Sciences.
She has published four books including:
1) Students personality and their perceptions of teachers working efficiency , (2010) monograph,
2) Factors of School Success (2000) monograph,
3) Integration – one possible experiment – UNDP-UNOPS (1999), co-author),
4) Politics and the Life (2001) co-authored, and 125 scientific and professional papers.
She has participated in various international scientific conferences (40) and international scientific meetings in the region and in the Europe on the subject of gifted, giving an active contribution to the popularization of current theoretical paradigms and their application in science. She is the President of the Association “Together in Europe” (2011) from in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Coordinator of the 1st Symposium “Alps-Danube-Adria, Excellente in Education”, at 16 ICIE in Paris. Winner of the International Award for Scientific Work and Contribution 16 International Conference “Excellence, Excellence, Innovation, & Creativity in Basic-Higher Education & Psychology, Paris (3-6.07.2018) at the University of Paris Descartes, Paris-France.
